Management training that actually sticks. No death-by-PowerPoint—just practical, interactive workshops that equip your line managers to handle difficult conversations, performance issues, and people challenges with confidence.
Why do we need training for line managers?
Your line managers are the backbone of your business. They run your production lines, lead your teams, and deal with people issues daily. But most of them were promoted because they were good at their technical job—not because they knew how to manage people.
Training for Line Managers gives your managers the practical skills and confidence to handle real-world people challenges: difficult conversations, performance management, absence management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement. This isn’t generic corporate training that gets forgotten by Tuesday. It’s tailored to your business, your sector, and the actual situations your managers face.
I deliver interactive, workshop-style training that focuses on practice, not theory. Your managers leave with tools they can use immediately—not a binder full of slides they’ll never look at again. And because I understand manufacturing and operational environments, the scenarios and examples are relevant to shop floors, production lines, and shift-based teams—not office-based corporate waffle.

How it works
Step 1: Discovery Call (30 minutes, free)
We’ll discuss your management team’s current challenges, what skills gaps you’re seeing, and what outcomes you need from training.
Step 2: Needs Analysis & Proposal
I’ll conduct a brief needs analysis (usually 2-3 conversations with key stakeholders) to understand your specific training needs, then send you a tailored proposal with content outline, format, and investment.
Step 3: Content Customisation
I’ll customise all content, scenarios, and exercises to reflect your business, sector, and the real situations your managers face. No generic case studies.
Step 4: Training Delivery
Interactive, on-site workshop delivered with a mix of explanation, discussion, practice exercises, and real-world application. Participants leave with tools they can use immediately.
Step 5: Follow-Up & Reinforcement
Post-training materials provided digitally, plus a 3-month follow-up session (for full-day training) to reinforce learning and address any challenges in applying the skills.

Frequently asked questions
Can you deliver training remotely via Zoom/video call?
I can, but in-person training is significantly more effective—especially for practicing difficult conversations and building team cohesion. If you’re based too far for on-site delivery, we can discuss remote options, but my strong recommendation is always in-person.
How do you customise the training to our business?
I conduct a needs analysis before designing content, which includes conversations with managers, reviewing common scenarios you face, and understanding your sector-specific challenges. All examples, exercises, and case studies reflect situations your managers actually deal with.
What if our managers have very different experience levels?
I design content to work for mixed-ability groups, with foundational concepts everyone needs plus advanced application for more experienced managers. Alternatively, we can run separate sessions for new managers vs. experienced managers if the gap is significant.
